Åkerblom house.
Saaristokatu 7 is one of the new houses fitted in the wooden town environment. It replaced the former dilapidated semidetached house. The Åkerblom house and its yard designed by Architect Heli Kittilä continues the Old Raahe wood-building tradition in a modern way.
A new dwelling house fit in the old environment has been built at the corner of Saaristonkatu and Kirkkokatu replacing the former Latomaa shop.
